Filter Calendar

[00:00:00] Today, I wanted to talk to you about different ways to view. Events on the calendar. The default way is to view the monthly view. And you can see all of the events that we have for that current month. This is my favorite way to view, especially if I’m on the desktop. But if I’m on my phone, this is kind of hard to read because it’s really small.

[00:00:23] So you could also on the top of the calendar, there’s it says month weekday. So you can click week and then this’ll give you all of the activities that are happening this week in a timetable format. So you can see what time all of the events are happening. Or if you just want to see today’s events on a timetable, you can click day. In addition to changing the view of the monthly calendar. You can also go back to the menu bar. And you can select table events, table. The events table is my favorite view to use on the cell phone because it’s a nice compact view.

[00:01:02] It shows you the event, name, the venue, and the date of the event. And you have a register button that you can select to view the details of the event.

[00:01:13] In addition, this is also a great view, even if you’re on your desktop, if you want to. Filter the calendar by types of events that are coming up. So we have categories that are listed on the event. So if there’s any events that are involved, I just filtered for camping. They’re going to pop up here.

[00:01:31] Or if we want to filter by water activities, then they’re going to pop up here as well. So this weekend in the woods is a camping trip, but we’re going to be in Huntsville state parks. So we’re also going to be kayaking. So that’s why this pops up on the water sports events. You can see we’ve already put some of our standup paddle boarding and kayaking events on the calendar.

[00:01:52] And then we have some trips that include water sports as well. So this is a great. Way to view some of the. Events by activity. One thing to note though, is that when you are viewing by a filter by a category filter, you will still see all of the pages down here. So if you click on page two, Since there’s only two backpacking events.

[00:02:15] Now it’s going to show you all of the events in chronological order. So just keep that in mind and come back to the categories and reset to show all or look at your next category that you want to look at. So just keep that in mind when you’re viewing The events calendar, the, the, the pages down here don’t always filter properly.

[00:02:36] One more way to view events is list of events.

[00:02:40] And this is probably a good view if you’re on your cell phone and you just wanted to get a quick, you just wanted to scroll through quickly and see what’s coming up. It doesn’t show you the date of the event. So it’s more just like an idea of what types of events are coming up, but you can click any one of these for additional information. Please note that when you’re viewing the calendar by category, that we haven’t planned all of the events yet for the year. So if you only see a couple of things, show up based on a particular category, just know that more events are going to be added throughout the year. So that’s all I wanted to talk about today.
