Hiking the Four Notch Loop Trail
The Four Notch Loop Trail is 12 MILES and includes some of The Lonestar Trail.
This is an advanced hike – please be confident that you can keep pace, and come prepared.
The Four Notch Loop Trail is 12 MILES and includes some of The Lonestar Trail. It is in the Sam Houston National Forest a fair distance from civilization. We’ll hike the loop at a 2-3 mile/hour pace. The trail is relatively flat but has many gullies to cross.
This is an advanced hike – please be confident that you can keep pace, and come prepared. You must be physically fit, and with the appropriate gear for this 5-6 hour hike!
