Texas Bud Heat Wave – 5k or 5 mile
The Texas Bud Heatwave is a 5-mile run on the Fourth of July. The overall winners for both top males and females will be based on gun time. Age group awards for top males and females will be based on chip time. There will be a post-race party to cool your heels and chill out with a cold bud and great music.

The Texas Bud Heatwave is a 5-mile run on the Fourth of July. The overall winners for both top males and females will be based on gun time. Age group awards for top males and females will be based on chip time. There will be a post-race party to cool your heels and chill out with a cold bud and great music.
Level of Difficulty:
The Texas Heat Wave is run mostly on flat, concrete / asphalt-surfaced streets through Baytown. Both courses are out and back. The 5K and 5 miles races will proceed on the same course, with the 5K turnaround point at approximately 1.5 miles and the 5 miles turnaround point at about 2.5 miles. Everyone is welcome who can run a 5k in 90 minutes.
