The 2025 Bluebonnet Express Bike Ride

This fully supported ride is one of the Houston area’s oldest rides

Bluebonnets

The 34th annual Bluebonnet Express will be held on March 30, 2025, starting from the Waller ISD High School (next to the Football Stadium) in Waller, Texas, approximately 40 miles northwest of Houston. This fully supported ride is one of the Houston area’s oldest rides and is presented by Northwest Cycling Club.

Four different distances/routes will be offered. All routes are on back country roads, staying off most of the busier FM roads in Waller County. Cyclist can expect mostly flat sections and some gentle rollers. This is an excellent training opportunity for the upcoming MS 150.

The Bluebonnet Express is promoted and sponsored by Northwest Cycling Club. It is one of two rides that they organize each year to promote cycling in the Greater Houston area. The proceeds from this ride go in various organizations that are predominantly cycling related.  The attached link will let you sign up for the ride and provides a list of the organizations that they support.

Duration: There are 4 ride distance options (20.7, 37.8, 62.1, or 70.5 miles.)  Click the Link below, to sign up and chose the distance.

Also, if you don’t want to ride you can sign up to volunteer to help during this event.  See the attached link below.
