BCO & HTXO Social and Reunion

Amy and Kelly are getting together to throw the ultimate social and reunion. 😀 It’s just been too long since we’ve seen so many great friends. Friends we’ve made over the last 22 years!

Yes, you heard me correctly.  BCO started 22 years ago and expanded with HTXO 7 years ago.  In the past 22 years, literally thousands of members have:

Traveled extensively… hitting every nook and cranny of TX, remote places across the US and stepping foot on over 50 countries!

Found homes for and helped 100s if not 1000s of animals. Between picking up street dogs, fostering, feeding and spaying feral cats, fundraising… BCO has a soft heart for our 4 legged friends.

Taught members new activities … Hiking, biking (road, mountain and casual), camping, backpacking, SUP, kayaking (flat & white water) navigation, map reading, traveling light, speaking Spanish, night sky, nature photography, astrophotography, pickleball, ping pong, wakeboarding, volleyball… this list goes on and on!

Come out to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and celebrate our shared love for nature and outdoor adventure. Whether you’re a past member of Bayou City Outdoor (BCO) or HTXoutdoors (HTXO), a current member, or a future member looking to join in on the fun, everyone is welcome!

The night will be filled with laughter, reminiscing about past adventures, and catching up on what everyone has been up to.

And, if you’re new to the group, this is a great opportunity to meet other outdoor enthusiasts, learn more about BCO & HTXO, and get tips and advice from seasoned adventurers.

Parking:

Parking is a breeze! There is a private lot and plenty of street parking.  See blue highlighted areas with numbers.

How to find the group:

X marks the spot! We’ll be outside, in the back of Axelrad, under the big white tarp. So come rain or shine!  Look for the BCO and HTXO signs! 

Fees:  The event is free.  Bring money for drinks and food.  Luigi’s pizza is on-site, and Axelrad usually has a food truck or vendor as well.

So, come one, come all! Join us for a night of reconnecting, reminiscing, and reigniting our passion for the great outdoors.
