Have you heard about the BCO Buddy Program?
We know it can be a teensy bit intimidating to start something new or attend an event where you don’t know anyone.
Don’t worry! We’ve been there too! And we’d love to put you in touch with an already-established BCO member to be your Buddy and introduce you to the group.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Just send an email over to info@BayouCityOutdoors.com after you’ve started your membership, with the dates and events you’re interested in.
Step 2: Once we’ve gotten in touch, we’ll connect you with a BCO member who’ll be at the same event. (All Buddies are volunteers, and love meeting new folks!)
Step 3: Show up at our event, and meet your Buddy in person. They’ll be thrilled to introduce you to fellow members! And, after an event or two, you’ll have made some fantastic new friends of your own.
The Buddy Program is a great way to introduce yourself - just ask any of our active members (most of whom started off requesting a BCO buddy too.)
Don’t be shy! This is all about making your BCO experience easy, comfortable, and a ton of fun.
We’ve got new events going up on the calendar every day. It’s time to meet local, active, and fascinating people who share your awesome interests.

You may have noticed some events require special gear: bikes, kayaks, camping gear, etc. We’d be happy to lend you what you need (subject to availability, of course!)
To borrow BCO equipment you do need to be a member. Then, just call the office, or drop us an email. All we ask is that you put in your request at least one week prior to the event. Email Info@BayouCityOutdoors.com.
