Itinerary

Day 1 – Wednesday:
Arrive into Zagreb the nation’s capital. After being picked up at the airport the group will check into the hotel and have a quick orientation. We will then head downtown for lunch at the local outdoor market. We will then explore the cities and see the major sights including St Mark’s Cathedral, stroll down the enchanting Tkalčićeva Street, explore the upper town, and see many other sights along the way. We will have a group dinner there in Zagreb before returning to the hotel.

Day 2 – Thursday:
We will say goodbye to the Nation’s Capital and start our days journey with a bus ride to the Plitvice Lakes National Park.  We will first check into our hotel before having a chance to explore this beautiful National Park.  After lunch, the rest of the day will be spent exploring the many lakes and waterfalls that are to be found in this park.  The tourist crowds will become much lighter in the evening and will give us a chance to enjoy the serenity of this park in the evening.  We will have a group dinner together that night.

Day 3 – Friday:
Today we will board a bus heading to the coastal city of Zadar. After checking into our hotel we will have lunch and then explore the city. We will visit Zadar Land City Gates, the Church of Donat, the historic bell tower, and the Sea Organ.  There will be free time for the group as well this day for those who would like to go for a swim or just to enjoy the beach.  After our group dinner, we will go to the greetings to the sun monument art installation.

Day 4 – Saturday:
After breakfast, we will check out of the hotel and board a bus heading to Split.  Once we arrive in Split we will check into our hotel and explore this beautiful city. We will start off with lunch and a bit of shopping on Marmont Street. We will then visit the city’s sights including Pjaca Square, the iron gate, the clock tower, the town square, and the Fruit Square.  We will have a group dinner together and the evening is free to enjoy Split.

Day 5 – Sunday:
Today will board a ferry to the island of Hvar. This ferry takes just under an hour from Split to the island. We will explore the island together and visit St Stephen’s Cathedral and the historic Arsenal with its amazing views of the harbor. For those who would like a little more adventure, we can set up a kayaking experience that will explore the smaller islands surrounding Hvar. Those not interested in kayaking can enjoy the warm sand and inviting beaches of Hvar. We will have dinner there in Hvar and then catch the evening ferry back to Split for the night.

Day 6 – Monday:
We will leave Split today and board a catamaran to the island of Korcula.  Once our catamaran arrives on the island we will check into our hotel. We will have lunch together and then explore the old town of this island including St Mark’s Cathedral, the towering clock tower, and other historical sights. The rest of the afternoon will be free for you to explore, swim, or visit the surrounding vineyards. We will meet back up as a group to enjoy dinner together in the old town.

Day 7 – Tuesday:
We will take a late start to this day so we can enjoy the island of Korcula a little longer before boarding the catamaran to Dubrovnik. Once in Dubrovnik, we will check into our hotel and then go to explore the city from its famous city walls. We will enter at Piles Gate and take in the many views of the city and sea from the wall. We will have dinner as a group and then the evening will be free to enjoy the nightlife.

Day 8 Wednesday:
Our final full day on the tour and we will take in the sights of the beautiful city of Dubrovnik. We will start this day with a cable car ride up to the top of Mount Srd. This high vantage point will give us a panoramic view of the city and the sea. We can also have lunch up top and do a little exploring, there’s even a Zipline up top for those who want a little more thrill. It will then be back down the cable car and into the city. We will see the well-preserved buildings ranging from the baroque St. Blaise Church to the Renaissance Sponza Palace and Gothic Rector’s Palace. You will also have a chance to get in any last-minute souvenir shopping. We will have dinner as a group and the evening will be free.

Day 9 Thursday:
We will have to say our goodbyes on this day. After a good breakfast, we will get those who are flying home to the airport there in Dubrovnik.

Trip Costs:

Member Price:
$3095 per person. There will be a $299 single Supplement Fee for those wanting their own rooms.  Non-refundable Deposit of $250 due in March.

Non-Member Price: 

$3200, includes 3 month membership to BCO – Non-refundable Deposit of $355 due in March.

The tour will include all breakfast & dinners, hotel accommodations, all land travel including buses, ferries, catamarans, and cable cars, entrance Fees to all museums and historical sights, entrance fees into the national park, and all other fees involving the tour.

Additional costs for you include:
– Airfare into Zagreb, out of Dubrovnik – we can discuss as a group to coordinate if interested.
– Alcohol/personal drinks, shopping, tips.
– Recommended to get trip insurance!
