Hiking and Biking in Damascus
Nestled in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, Damascus is where breathtaking mountain vistas, lush forest trails, and small town charm collide. You’ll start with biking from a nearby town on the Virginia Creeper Trail through lush forest scenery and hike the famed Appalachian Trail the following day. There’s a reason why Damascus is called “Trail Town USA”!

Transportation will be provided, including bike rental. No need to rent a car or pay for parking. 4 days / 3 nights (including arrival & departure dates) makes this an easy extended weekend trip!
Dates are flexible. If there’s a group who would like to do a different date, please reach out to the Trip Leader to arrange. May – October are ideal months.
