About the Lone Star Hiking Trial:
The Lone Star Hiking Trail (LSHT) stretches 96.5 miles through the scenic forests just north of Houston. We’re breaking it down into manageable sections for day hikes and smaller backpacking trips. By section hiking, you can experience the beauty of the LSHT at your own pace without committing to a full thru-hike. In addition to the main trail, we’ll explore loops and connecting trails for added variety.
