Salsa on the Square with Angelucho’s CopaCabana
Grab your lawn chairs and head to the Plaza to kick back and relax to some music from saxophonist/vocalist Eric Demmer. This high band brings a mix of energy, funky blues and jazz.
We’re turning the heat up a notch with this concert! Angel “Angelucho” Bermudez has long been Houston’s most elegant Salsa artist and boasts one of the most commanding voices on the scene a graceful baritone that handles lively Salsa tunes with verve. His vibrant interpretations of the hot modern Latin rhythms with resonating brass and piano runs hearkens back to the golden age of Cuban music in the 1950s.
