The Beer Garden at Blue Heron Farm

Our event:

Join us as we play with goats and drink beer. Bring games if you want. You might want to bring a camp chair in case seating becomes scarce. 

They serve a variety of snacks, including cheese and crackers, popcorn, gelato pops and more. There is a BBQ place across the street if you want to eat something more substantial. You can order by phone and pick up to bring back when it is ready. We checked with them and they will allow us to bring in our own picnic.

About the Venue:

After 16 years of raising goats, making cheese, and sharing our farm on occasional tours, we finally made farm access a more permanent  opportunity. We built a beer garden/petting farm.  We’re calling it a beer garden, but more technically it’s an old  fashioned Texas ice house. A rustic, outdoor place to gather with family  and friends, share a drink, play some games and – in our case – snuggle  with some goats. 

We have a variety of beers, wine, and hard seltzers, as well as non-alcoholic beverages. We also have a small snack menu that includes products from our farm and others.

In the future we hope to add classes, dinner events and more, but for now, just come out, have a drink and pet some goats and enjoy some fresh air.
