This concert takes the listener through a day at the royal French palace, surrounded by the music of composers who worked there during the reigns of Louis XIV and Louis XV. Various pieces accompany activities of the court, journeying through the famous halls, chambers and secret passages. Presented from the perspective of the musicians of the day, the program is curated with the visitor in mind.
