Kayakers are needed to provide swimmer safety support along with the Galveston Beach Patrol for the Texas 70.3 IRONMAN Triathlon in Galveston. This is held in the bay at Moody Gardens and is a fun and rewarding experience. In return for your help, you get a volunteer t-shirt and the IRONMAN organization will make a donation to a charity based on the number of volunteers that we provide.
We will be leaving from the 61st boat ramp at 5:30.
