Join BCO for this trip to Palo Duro Canyon located in the panhandle of Texas. Camp at the state park or stay at the Best Western Hotel in Canyon. We will hike the Lighthouse and Triassic trails in the canyon. Palo Duro Canyon has been called “The Grand Canyon of Texas,” both for its size and for the dramatic geological features, including the multicolored layers of rock and steep mesa walls similar to those in the Grand Canyon. They also have fantastic biking trails and dark, night skies for spectacular star gazing!
